Five for Friday

Well I think I will have to resign myself to the fact that all my link ups will have the wrong day on them.  Here in New Zealand we are lucky enough to see the sun first each day.  So as I'm typing this it is currently 11am Saturday here, but still very much Friday on the other side of the world.  Check out my Five for Friday with Doodle Bugs Teaching!

1 - I love that it's the weekend.  I never seem to have enough time to get everything done during the week, so the weekend is when it will have to happen!  Check out my list of chores for today... I'd better get started! It's nearly lunch time.

Gosh lots to do!!

2 - I've taken up a new skill.  Crochet!  I know I'm old before my time, but hey!  I have lots of friends who are having babies this summer (January) - so I decided to make some baby blankets.  I'm not the biggest fan of the way something looks when it is crocheted, but it is easy - so that is a win!  What do ya'll think so far? (Hehe I love putting on an accent)

I don't know if it's a boy or a girl, but I really hope the blue layer I'm just starting will soften the pink!
3 - I love that the weather is starting to get warmer, and the days longer.  Although in saying that it hasn't exactly been a very cold winter here.  I was going to be all "See look at the sun and stuff" in this photo, but it looks like it will rain!  Might go for a run BEFORE doing my chores, just in case!

Trust me, it has been wonderful weather!
4 - I love my kids.  I don't have a photo for this one because I accidentally deleted it, and I'm not about to go to school on the weekend just to take one!  We have started spending Friday mornings as a reflection time.  I really love the way all my learners - even (and sometimes especially) the tough ones have embraced this and really shared an insight into their thinking.  Maybe I'll update this on Monday and show you a photo of their thinking then...

5 - I love that some people have downloaded my first TPT product and some of you have even given me feedback!  Way to make a girl feel special!! Thanks heaps.  I will upload some more freebies after my house chores are done :)

This is the first one, in US and Everyone else English :)

So that's my 5 - Show me yours!! And then I'll be back for Saturday Snapshots (on a Sunday) tomorrow :)
