Meet me Monday

Pretty sure this is the first time I've linked up and it's been the correct day!

Linking up over at the Teaching Tribune for Meet Me Monday.  Now y'all I have to tell ya.  It's not Summer here, but I'm not going to let the chance to meet a whole bunch of new bloggers pass me by!  I love sharing and "meeting" everyone in the blogosphere.

So here I am!

Yup you read that right, I have 29 kiddos in my class.  I love them all, most of the time.  They are mostly pretty awesome, even if they have no ears at the moment.

I seriously would give just about anything for the chance to teach in America!  I soooo want that opportunity, and NEARLY got it a few years ago.  But no one wants me :(  If any one is a principal and wants to take a chance on me, please let me know!! I'm pretty awesome, you don't want to let this pass you by... No one? :(

Yup far too much TV... No excuse, just too many awesome programmes that I like!

I just discovered Pandora... Seriously I have been living under a rock.  I'm all about the country music at the moment!! Another reason I want to live in America!!

I try not to read during the term time because I get too caught up in the story and then forget to sleep... So apart from the Good Book, and the wonderful posts y'all write, I don't really read except during summer...

I'm working on it!  At least I'm trying too...

Right head on over and meet everyone else!  Write a comment and let me know what two products in my store you'd like to see 50% off for the next two days, and then come back tomorrow for 2 for Tuesday!

  1. Hi Erin,

I hope you get your chance to teach in America! But if you just want to travel, then do it! I resigned from my teaching job at the end of 2011 and lived in Canada for the whole of 2012 and it was the best thing I've ever done! I didn't teach there but loved it all the same. I got a teaching job as soon as I came home and have never regretted living overseas. You might be able to do supply work while you're there if you get the right visa!

  2. 29 kiddos? That's A LOT! I wouldn't be able to read during the term either. I'd have to be in bed every afternoon and sleep through the night with that many kids. You are a brave, brave soul! Don't give up on your hunt for a position in the U.S.!

  3. I have never heard of Daily Odd Compliment, but I am going to check it out. ;-)
I have been hooked on I Heart Radio which is similar to Pandora. I've been listening to an 80s station that I love.
I hope you get to fulfill your dream of teaching in America.
    Very nice to "meet" you!

  4. Nice to meet you! I love Country music too. In fact, I have Pandora on right now listening to Luke Bryan (sigh). I know my school district in Albuquerque, New Mexico is about to have a ton of open teacher positions. So many teachers retired this year. I'm talking hundreds...just a thought. BTW-I'm a new follower :)

  5. I'm about to begin my first year of teaching in Las Vegas...They are hiring around 2,000 teachers this year! Take a gamble! ;)

I'm not sure why 29 ten year-olds sounds like such madness but my 29 twelve year-olds seems so much better! haha

  6. Nice to "meet" you! Where do you teach? If you're willing to move anywhere in America, they're hiring! Some are even willing to pay off a portion of your student loans if you teach long enough in their district! I'd love for you to read more about me on my blog!
