Hey hey - it's a new week!

Why hello there friends! I'm staring at the back end of a Monday and I finally have internet!!! I moved into my new place a week ago and couldn't get the TV OR internet working.  The TV is still down, but I now have internet!!!  YAY

I'm linking up today with The Teaching Trio for this week's Sunday Scoop.  Head over there to find out what everyone else is up to!

Yup, we're about 1/3 of the way through the year, and my student teacher is in full swing. She's doing great which makes it so much easier to step back and let her go for it!

How's your week looking?

  1. I've never had a student teacher, but I've often thought that I should. I'm always just a bit uncomfortable about the thought of letting go of my class and letting someone else take over! It's great that you are mentoring new teachers. Have a great week!

  2. HELLO! I've mentored several teachers, but only had one student teacher in my years teaching. Middle school math is not usually a student teacher's first choice! I unexpectedly had a hard time giving up my control. I wasn't expecting the emotional battle I had with myself. (I blame testing, mostly.) She was and is a fantastic teacher despite my road blocks! :)
