Currently it's 2016!?!?!?

Say it ain't so?! 2016 ALREADY?!

Oh my word it's come so quickly.  It feels like just yesterday that it was the START of 2015.

I'm Linking up today with the ever wonderful Farley.  DID you notice something when you got there though?! I'm this months sponsor! Yay!  I'm going to have a MASSIVE giveaway going on on my blog for the next week.  Keep reading to see how you could win part of $100 to spend at TPT in some way or another.

Listening - I recently just binge watched the entire series up to where we currently stand.  I am positively itching for it so start up again!

Loving - Do you like it?!  I did it myself!  I still have to change up a few things.  I'm not 100% happy with the colours, and I need to figure out the code to make the sidebar titles a bit more creative.

Thinking - So if you hadn't heard the news yet - I'm moving down to k/1 this year!  I have taught 10-13 year olds for the past 8 of 9 years!  This year I'm teaching 5 year olds.   I'm more than a little nervous!  Any tips?  Ideas?  TPT stores I should be following?

Wanting - Frozen coke is my go to in summer.  Although I am trying to cut down on the old sugar intake!

Needing - I'm am completely content!

One little word - Well since "just do it" is three words, my OLW of this year is going to be Nike!  I'm just going to get out there and do things that might scare me, or that take me out of my comfort zone.

OK now for the GIVEAWAY!

Enter the rafflecopter and follow along for your chance to win one of ten prizes - 5 $10 TPT vouchers, and 5 $10 shopping sprees to my store.

  2. I love your new blog design! It's beautiful!! That's a huge jump down to k/1! but those kiddos are always amazing. I love how there is so much that you get to help them discover for the first time... but I have to say my jump from 1st to 3rd was nice because I was so surprised at how independent the kids were from day one! That was not something I was used too! :) What is your school year cycle like? I think it is so interesting how school is the same or different around the world! ;)

    1. We have four 10 (ish) week terms with a two week break in the middle of each of them. Then we have 6-7 weeks over summer - which I'm currently enjoying!

I am NOT looking forward to the lack of independence. Lots of colouring and cutting, and glueing is what I have planned for the first part of the year so far!

      Thanks for stopping by!

  3. What they lack in independence they gain in honesty and affection...Well maybe don't believe everything they tell you! Curious Firsties is one of my go to blogs. They have lots of great ideas and love what they do! Good luck!!

Just so you know- in the rafflecopter, your Twitter username is misspelled. You need to switch the "to" to the number "2". I had to search on Twitter for you. Just don't want you to lose out on followers :)

  6. Wow! Congratulations on the age group move! I teach junior high students 11-13 during the year, but 4 and 5 year olds during the summer. In some ways they are very similar. The littles just need a lot more patience and movement!
